One-on-One Ergonomic Assessments

At Pillar Ergonomics, our One-on-One Ergonomic Assessments are designed to provide a comprehensive, personalized evaluation of your workspace and work habits. We understand that every individual is unique, and so are the factors that influence their comfort, productivity, and overall well-being at work. Our goal is to pinpoint any issues that might be hindering your optimal work experience and offer tailored solutions to improve your day-to-day environment. Whether you're working from a corporate office or a home setup, our expert assessors take a deep dive into the elements that shape your workday.

The assessment begins with a thorough analysis of your immediate workspace. This includes evaluating your desk, chair, monitor placement, keyboard, and mouse positioning to ensure they align with ergonomic best practices. We look at how these physical components support—or fail to support—your body throughout the day. Beyond the equipment itself, we examine the surrounding environment, such as lighting, and noise levels, which can subtly but significantly impact focus and comfort. Poor lighting, for example, might lead to eye strain, while an overly noisy space could disrupt concentration—both of which we aim to address.

We don’t stop at the physical setup. Our assessors also observe your postures, behaviours, and work habits during the session. Are you slouching after long periods of sitting? Do you take regular breaks, or are you glued to your screen for hours? These patterns matter. We analyze how you move (or don’t move) and how your routines might contribute to discomfort or fatigue. Additionally, we consider organizational factors, like workload demands or scheduling, that could indirectly affect your physical and mental well-being. By the end of the assessment, you’ll receive clear, actionable recommendations—whether it’s adjusting your chair height, rethinking your break schedule, or introducing tools like lumbar supports—to create a workspace that works for you, not against you.
